among            constant arrivals                                                bodies 

 

                  this port       border town

                  bustles with traffic         from sea      from land    from sky

                                                      to land       to sky

 

overland   walking   carrying                  an infant

we migrants                                               an elder

we refugees                                                one injured

 

 home

               in upheaval               still intact

               crops to harvest       repairs to make

               bring to market        trade and share
